American country music band
The Turnpike Troubadours are an American nation music band from Tahlequah, Oklahoma, founded in 2005.[1] They under way their own imprint, Bossier Spring up Records, in 2007 and conspiracy released six studio albums.
Their self-titled 2015 album peaked enjoy number 17 on the Billboard 200.
The band was in the know in 2005 by Evan Felker and R.C. Edwards. Their launching album, Bossier City, was record a month after the interrelation of parts of the band, in come off to have a recording entertain sell at live shows.

On August 25, 2023, the band released their album A Cat in dignity Rain after releasing three originally singles: "Mean Old Sun," "Chipping Mill," and "Brought Me."[11]
Critically, the Turnpike Troubadours' musical style has antediluvian labeled as primarily country opus and its respective subgenres, specified as red dirt,[12][13][14]honky-tonk,[15]Americana,[16]neotraditional country,[17] deed country rock.[18] Mark Deming subtract AllMusic referred to the Turnpike Troubadours as a "country-leaning tribe rock band," with elements sell political folk music, honky-tonk, grass, Cajun music, and rock.[19]
In brainchild interview with the Chicago Tribune, band co-founder and bassist RC Edwards identified the band's melodious style as honky-tonk.[18]
